 Welcome to Homer Brewing Company’s virtual brewery. If you haven’t had the oppor- tunity to visit Homer, Alaska, we are located 220 miles south of Anchorage where the road ends and Kachemak Bay begins. Homer is known as "The Cosmic Hamlet by the Sea," and once you’ve been here, you’ll understand why. We are also known as the halibut capital of the world and that, too, is proven when you see a 300 pound fish hanging by its tail. Our home is often referred to as the crown jewel of the state, and its beauty is defined by the land and seascape of the area. If you need another reason to visit Homer, beer could be what brings you. Open since 1996, Homer Brewing Company has been welcoming both locals and visitors to the brewery every day of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Mardi Gras day. |
